Seen at Edinburgh Festival Fringe on the 11^th of August 2023

4 stars – hilarious journey

In order to conquer his beloved, Leif suggests a romantic trip to Disneyland. Unfortunately, things don’t quite develop the way Leif had programmed.

This exquisitely well written stand-up comedy show overlaps with storytelling at times. The result? We really want to know where the story brings us, especially as it becomes more and more complicated and absurd, while the jokes drag us from one scene to the next.

Leif Oleson-Cormack really knows what he’s doing, even if he sometimes makes it noticeable that he the stage isn’t always a fully comfortable space for him (yet). As the story thickens, he dominates the space better and he is so engaging that, despite how crazy and paradoxical the story goes, there is no questioning its logic and the sequence of events.

A good laugh and a storytelling immersion. I will definitely want to see his future shows.
