3 Stars – pastel-colour journey

A person embarks on a journey. She knows in which direction to go, but what he finds does not correspond to expectations. He embarks on a new journey. They find themselves in a new place, maybe more comfortable than the previous ones.

This sweet clown show travels through the concept of gender and the expectations of society. It cleverly steps beyond basic ideas and uses imagination to convey feelings and situations. Silence is opposed to the noise of the train – but silence doesn’t mean emptiness, it is rather what is needed for the clown to play their music.

The clown (Ania Upstill) is the perfect ‘character’ to embody this journey, with their ability to transform, play, and avoid definitions.
